JEE Main 2014 Admit Card Now Available

The central board of secondary education (CBSE), official authority responsible for conducting JEE Main every year has released the JEE Main 2014 Admit card today i.e. 13 March 2014. The applicants filling the application form in the appropriate pattern have been issued the admit card and in case the applicants whose forms have been accepted and yet they are not issued with the admit card must contact the concerned and official authority as soon as possible. The applicants can avail the admit card by logging on the official website. There is no availability of the same in the offline mode, which is the no applicant has been sent the admit card through post or email.

Procedural steps for downloading the JEE Main 2014 Admit Card:

In order to avail the JEE Main 2014 Admit Card, the applicants are required to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Log on the JEE main official website.
  • Click on the available link of “Download Admit Card
  • Once the link is clicked, the applicant is required to enter the details related to application form number and password.
  • Further, the entered information has to be submitted by clicking on the “Submit Button”
  • Once the submission has been made the applicants can download their admit card

There are certain ground rules that have been set by the official authority regarding the admit card. The ground rules set are required to be followed by every candidate. Following are some of the ground rules:

  • The admit card cum hall ticket has to be carried in the printed form
  • There is no acceptance of the document in any gadget including cell phones and various other electronic gadgets
  • The document should not be tampered and must be in a good condition
  • It has to be presented to the invigilator along with an identity proof recognized by the government of India
  • All the information mentioned in the document must be correct and in accordance with the information provided by the applicant in the application form.

The applicants must note that the candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2014 Entrance Exam in either of the online or offline mode is required to carry either of the following identity proofs:

  • Ration card
  • passport
  • Driving license
  • Voter Id card
  • School or college Id

The document is often regarded as the hall ticket or entry ticket required by the invigilator for validating the applicant’s identity further allowing them to appear for the entrance exam.  Therefore, it should be carried to the exam hall as it covers information about the address, exam date and other aspect of the exam.
